1. Introduction

Welcome to Vectis, a personal productivity and task management service provided by Arachnida ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our website, creating an account, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

• Authentication: Vectis uses Arachnida Auth for account management. Your account is shared across Arachnida services.
• Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.
• Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time through the Arachnida Auth Portal.

3. User Data

Vectis stores your personal productivity data including tasks, locations, assets, and related information.

• Ownership: You retain ownership of all data you create within Vectis.
• Location Data: If you enable location features, we store coordinates you provide. We do not continuously track your location.
• Data Export: You may export your data at any time via the calendar feed or by contacting us.

4. Third-Party Services

Vectis may integrate with third-party services:

• Google Maps API: Used for address geocoding. Subject to Google's Terms of Service.
• Calendar Integration: Your tasks may be exported to external calendar applications via the iCalendar (.ics) format.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARACHNIDA AND ITS SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

6. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

7. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
